eFil TPU 85A

Properties

eFil TPU 85A is a filament from the eFil family of elastic TPU-based filaments. Its hardness is Shore 85A, the hardness that is at the balance point between ease of printing and the highest flexibility. The 85A hardness is slightly lower than that found in a shoe sole. This low hardness means that we can print pieces capable of elongating up to 5 times their size without breaking.

eFil TPU 60D belongs to the eFil family of flexible TPU-based filaments. Its hardness is Shore 60D, higher than the standard hardness of flexible filaments for 3D printing on the market. The 60D hardness is what we can find in LEGO pieces, in addition to having more elongation. This greater hardness allows working with flexible filaments with the advantage of greater ease of printing.

abFil PLA 850

Properties

The antibacterial filament abFil PLA 850 is manufactured in Spain from PLA INGEO 3D850 from NatureWorks and has antibacterial protection thanks to the incorporation of silver ions. Silver ions have 3 modes of action on bacteria that ensure their effectiveness: they prevent bacterial growth, interfere with the production of enzymes, preventing the cell from producing energy and interrupting the replication of its DNA. The main advantage over other antibacterial technologies is that the silver ions become part of the piece itself and it is not a coating. This provides permanent protection to the piece without wearing off its effect over time.
