How to print flexible filament on an Anet a6

The market of desktop 3D printers is experiencing a great boom and more and more users are buying this type for their homes.

There is a wide variety of desktop 3D printers available in the market but without doubt one of the most massive is the Anet A8. Its price and ease of use are the two fundamental factors that are making this printer the leader in the low-cost market.

The Anet A8 is undoubtedly one of the best options to start in the world of 3D printing.

Today we are going to deal with the printing of flexible filaments in these printers. There are many of you who ask us if you can work with eFil  and eFil + in these machines. The first thing we will tell you is that as the serial printer comes, it is very difficult to work with flexible filaments. The reasons are the same as always, the type of extruder that these machines assemble. You can see the problems of these extruders here.

But do not worry because we bring you the two best solutions to print flexible material on an Anet A8 .

The quick option: Mod printed in 3D.

To overcome the lack of guidance of the material in the extruder, the easiest thing is to print a wedge-shaped piece that fulfills this function. There are many models for this piece. We are going to leave you with the piece we use for our Anet A8 in 3Dfils

The safe option: change the extruder.

Since the extruder of the Anet A8 is not prepared to work with flexible materials, it is best to change the extruder to one compatible with flexible materials.

In this blog post we already told you about the best extruders to work with flexible materials .

Given the great popularity of the printer you can find all the necessary parts for the installation of the extruder in thingiverse.

Among the extruders we have tested on this printer, we recommend the e3D Titan.

Yo llevo tiempo utilizando la pieza en forma de cuña y la verdad es que imprime muy bien. Aunque estoy pensando en pillar otro extrusor y mejorarla del todo. Cual me recomendais?
